Durga Homa Organiser's Checklist for a Smooth Puja Experience 🙏

Before Puja

• Ensure all puja samagri is available.
• Arrange pundit and sadhvi pickup/dropoff.
• Confirm puja start time.
• Pundit arrival 1 hour prior for arrangements.

Reception & Accommodation

• Respectful reception and accommodation.
• Ensure comfort (cot/bed, washroom facilities).
• Secure pundit belongings.
• Designate area for anushthana (Spiritual Practices).

Food & Beverages

• South Indian Pandits: rice, ghee, curds, sattvik items.
• No silver vessels for serving.
• Food immediately after puja.

Coordination

• Introduce Sadhiviji and Pandits (during homa or end of Homa to devotees).
• Ensure communication.
• Brief yajaman about Sadhiviji and Pandits.
• Local coordinators report to state teams.

Logistics

• One way travel expenses to be borne by the organiser.
• Discuss next day's programs (Next Program Coordinator will discuss on call/in person).
• Doctor's contact list.

Respect & Reverence

• Treat Pandits with respect and reverence.
• Ensure timely food and transportation.
• Be patient and understanding.
